How We Work

Different from the typical 30-minute physio visit

From something that flared up yesterday to pain you've been putting up with for months — our team handles a broad range of musculoskeletal and movement conditions.

Step 01

Listen & assess thoroughly

Your first session is a full hour. We ask about your pain, what you've tried, and how it's affecting your life — then run a proper hands-on and movement assessment to find the root cause.

Step 02

Treat — not just assess

Most patients get hands-on treatment in the first session. You walk away with three things: a clear diagnosis, real relief, and a written recovery plan with realistic timeframes.

Step 03

Your whole team, one building

Need exercise physiology, massage, dietetics, or women's health physio? It's all here. One set of records, one team that actually talks to each other about your care.

One Clinic. Everything You Need.

Your full recovery team under one roof

Physiotherapy

Hour-long assessments from master's-qualified physios. Root-cause diagnosis, hands-on in the same session, and a written plan with clear timeframes.

Exercise Physiology

Build strength and conditioning long-term. Ideal for chronic conditions, post-surgical recovery, and return-to-sport.

Remedial Massage

Hands-on muscle therapy coordinated with your physio plan — not a separate appointment to organise across town.

Women's Health Physio

Specialist care for pelvic floor, pregnancy and post-natal recovery, bladder issues, and pelvic pain — in a private, supportive setting.

Nutrition & Dietetics

Anti-inflammatory eating, weight management for joint loading, recovery fuelling — dietitians as part of your care team.

Hydrotherapy

Pool-based exercise for chronic pain, severe arthritis, or post-surgical recovery — a gentler way to rebuild strength.

Our Approach

Three principles that helps thousands of Locals across Logan and Redland City

01

Hands-on first

We treat in the first session. No "come back next week for the real treatment." If hands-on will help, you get it on day one.

02

Honest assessment

You'll leave knowing what's wrong, what's driving it, and how long recovery will likely take. If we can't help, we'll tell you straight.

03

Structured recovery

Every patient leaves with a written plan: exactly what's wrong, what we'll do, how many sessions, and what to do between visits.

Common Questions

Everything you might be wondering

Do I need a referral to see a physio?

No. You can book directly without a GP referral. Our physiotherapists are qualified to assess, diagnose, and create a management plan for your condition. If we think medical input would help, we’ll coordinate with your GP or specialist.

What happens at the first appointment?

Your initial session is a full 1-hour assessment. We’ll listen to your history, assess your movement, identify what’s driving the problem, and talk through a structured treatment plan. Most patients get hands-on treatment in that first session too.

Do you accept WorkCover, DVA, and NDIS?

Yes, all three. We handle the documentation and reporting. If you’re on a WorkCover or CTP claim, we’ll work with your insurer and employer to keep your recovery on track.

What makes your clinic different from other physios in the area?

Two things. First, every new patient gets a full 1-hour assessment instead of the standard 30 minutes. Second, we have physio, exercise physiology, remedial massage, women’s health physiotherapy, dietetics, lymphoedema therapy, and hydrotherapy all in one building. If your recovery needs more than physio alone, we walk you down the hall instead of referring you across town.

Is there parking at the clinic?

Yes. Our Birkdale clinic has on-site parking available at Shop 20a/120 Birkdale Rd.

What conditions can physiotherapy help with?

Physiotherapy can assist with many different conditions such as headache, back and spinal pain, and shoulder pain. Our physiotherapists are well trained in helping individuals get their pain better controlled. Physiotherapy can also help with dizziness, imbalance, weakness, and many other physical conditions. If you’re not sure, you can book a complimentary 15-minute consultation with our Director therapist to discuss more.

How many physiotherapy sessions will I need?

The number of sessions depends on the condition, duration, and severity of someone’s presentation. Most people require between 6 and 12 sessions for better relief and a long-lasting result. Your sessions are structured to progress toward self-management and create long-term, impactful changes in your physical health.

Can physiotherapy help with chronic pain?

Absolutely — physiotherapists are experts in the field of chronic pain management. Physiotherapy is very well equipped with the latest technology and treatment techniques, and the ability to prescribe an individualised exercise program to help you better manage chronic pain.

What should I wear to my appointment?

It’s best to wear comfortable, loose clothing. Your clothing should be flexible enough for your therapist to access the area being treated and complete a thorough assessment and management.

Can physiotherapy help with back, neck, shoulder, or knee pain?

Absolutely — these are the most common areas our clinic treats for pain management.

Can I claim with private health insurance?

Yes — we can claim your private health fund on the spot if your policy covers physiotherapy treatment.

Do you offer hands-on treatment and exercise rehabilitation?

We definitely do. From your first session you’ll receive specific advice about your condition, a management plan, hands-on treatment, and a tailored exercise program.

How soon can I get an appointment?

We often have same-day appointments available. If you can’t find a suitable time, give us a call and we’ll find one for you.

Ready to live better?

Book your first visit. Within the hour, you'll have a clear diagnosis, hands-on treatment,

and a written plan for getting back to the things you love.

Tell us a bit about what’s going on and our team will call you back within the next business day to discuss how you can benefit from our help.
